ColorMuch makes coloring pages for everyone. Grandparents color here beside teenagers. That one fact decides most of what follows.
Pages
Every prompt is checked before anything is drawn. A prompt is refused, and costs nothing, when it asks for:
- Adult or sexual content, or anything drawn to be suggestive.
- Graphic violence, gore, cruelty, or self-harm.
- Hate, slurs, or demeaning depictions of any group of people.
- Real, identifiable people, living or dead, or characters and brands someone else owns.
- Text meant to carry a message. Lettering on a page is a way around every other rule, so it is treated with care.
You are told the broad reason, not the mechanism. If a refusal seems wrong, rephrase and try again. If it still seems wrong, write to us.
Colorings
Showing off a coloring publishes it to everyone who visits the page. The same standards apply to what you add as to what was drawn. Acrylic strokes can lay opaque shapes in open space, so colorings that use them may be reviewed before they appear publicly. Drawing symbols, words or images into a page that were not part of its line work is not coloring, and is removed.
Effort
A coloring with barely any color on it may be held for review before it appears publicly. Finish your work, or publish it knowing a person will look first.
Handles
Your handle is public and permanent. The same rules apply to it as to a page: nothing hateful, sexual, deceptive, or impersonating someone else. A handle that breaks the rules closes the account that holds it.
Reporting
- Every public page and coloring has a Report link. Choose a reason. One report per person per item.
- One report brings a human look. Several reports may hide an item while it is looked at.
- A cleared report says nothing to anyone. A removal tells the creator or colorist, plainly, once.
- Reports made to harass are themselves a breach.
Enforcement
Quietly. Items are hidden or removed. Accounts that keep breaking the rules are closed, and a closed account forfeits its credits and earnings. There is no public record and no appeal process, but there is always a person at hello@colormuch.com.
