Privacy Policy

ColorMuch collects as little as it needs to run a coloring community, keeps it in the places named below, and shows the public one thing about you: your handle. Digital Fiction Publishing, Canada, is responsible for this data under Canada's PIPEDA.
What we collect
- From Google sign-in: your email address, your Google display name, and a Google account identifier. Used only to sign you in and to tell you apart from other members.
- From you: your handle, the prompts you type when creating pages, the pages and colorings you make, and any reports you file.
- From the site: your credit ledger, your unlocks, your saved works in progress, and ordinary technical logs such as request times and errors.
- Never: passwords, payment card numbers, or your location. When credits are sold, payment is handled by Stripe on its own pages.
What is public
- Your handle, the pages you publish, and the colorings you show off, each attributed to your handle.
- Nothing else. Private drafts, works in progress, your email, your Google name, your balance and your unlocks are visible only to you and to ColorMuch administrators.
How we use it
- To sign you in, keep your library, and run the credit economy.
- To check prompts against the Community Standards before anything is drawn.
- To review reports and keep the gallery clean.
- To find and fix problems with the site.
- Not for advertising profiles, and never sold.
Who processes it for us
- Google for sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the site and Neon hosts the database. Both are in the United States.
- DigitalOcean stores images in Toronto, Canada.
- OpenAI and Anthropic receive the text of prompts to check and draw pages. Prompts are sent without your name, email or handle.
- Stripe will handle payments when credits are sold.
Because some processors are outside Canada, your information may be stored or handled there under their own laws.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. If ColorMuch ever shows an advertisement in the gallery, it will be a plain placement, disclosed, and never inside the coloring app.
How long we keep it
- Your account details for as long as you have an account.
- Works in progress untouched for a year may be removed after notice.
- Published pages and colorings persist, attributed to "a former member" if you close your account.
- Ledger records are kept, anonymised, because they are the accounts of a closed economy.
Your choices
- You can see everything the site holds about you by signing in.
- You can close your account. We clear your personal details, retire your handle, and forfeit any remaining credits as the terms describe.
- You can ask us to correct something or to explain what we hold. Write to privacy@colormuch.com.
Children
ColorMuch is for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will close it.
Changes
The date at the top changes when this policy does. Material changes are announced on the site.
